We are looking for a Veterinary Technician to join our family and we will make it easy for you to put us at the top of your list. We are a full-service, privately owned, small animal veterinary practice, serving Eagle River and the Northwoods for over 30 years.

Eagle River Animal Hospital is committed to a holistic approach to pet health and well-being. We have an experienced, skilled staff; IDEXX in-house lab; digital xrays; ultrasound; and Infinity software. Complementary services include acupuncture, laser therapy, behavior counseling, and nutritional support.

Compensation for a full time position is based on a 4-day work week and every third Saturday so there is time to enjoy all this area has to offer. On call rotation every third week.

Applicant’s skills should include: • IV catheter placement • phlebotomy • safely restraining cats and dogs • taking radiographs (orthopedic and soft tissue) • anesthesia monitoring • dental cleanings • skin and ear cytology • parasitology screening • patient recovery • compassionate care for our hospitalized patients Individuals must also be comfortable with client communication, computers and must demonstrate excellent patient care. Other duties include: • checking in patients • in-clinic patient care • filling prescriptions • client education • laser treatments • running in-house blood work • equipment maintenance • stocking • cleaning Potential as Big as Your Passion
