The aim of the CPR lecture is to introduce attendees to the critical art of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, based on the guidelines provided through the RECOVER initiative. This lecture will cover a detailed approach for “How to perform CPR” in small animals, including considerations for neonate resuscitation.
The hands-on laboratory that will follow the CPR lecture will be a great opportunity to solidify the knowledge gained during the CPR lecture. Everyone will have the opportunity to engage in a CPR drill. Practice of CPR is an extremely important part of the CPR training.
