Edgerton Veterinary Clinic & Lakeland Veterinary Care are small animal practices just south of Madison, WI, and we are looking for a (part time or full time) certified veterinary technician to join our well established, multi-doctor animal hospital.

Our ideal candidate is a motivated team player that is professional, positive, articulate, and detail-oriented. Client education and communication are a sizable portion of the position, but all our technicians perform duties they learned in school including history taking, anesthesia monitoring and maintaining anesthetized patients, dental cleanings, preparing and running lab samples, restraint, phlebotomy, nursing care on sick and surgical patients, and record keeping. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, surgical assistance, pharmacy duties, radiology, and assisting with appointments.

Overview
•Responsible for answering incoming technical and clinical application calls and emails regarding anesthesia and monitoring equipment from internal and external sources.
• Provide vital technical and clinical support to internal staff for new product development. Responsibilities Essential Functions (Major Duties) Technical Support and Training
• Answers incoming calls and emails; resolves customer issues and logs conversation into the customer database.
• Works directly with manufacturers and customers to facilitate service repairs, preventative maintenance recommendations and replacement items.
• Works directly with sales agents to support sales recommendations, provide competitive analysis of product and aids in client education of product usage.
• Assists Service Technicians as needed with parts identification and troubleshooting.
• Provides Monitor or Anesthesia Machine In-service and/or demo training to customers as needed.
• Assists with installation questions or difficulties that may need to be resolved.
• Assists with requested training or CE events as needed.
• Provides support tools and training to new Service Technicians as needed on monitoring and anesthesia.
• Attends Regional or National Sales meetings as requested. Clerical Duties
• Issues Work Order (RMA) number for customer repairs at Patterson Veterinary NRC.
• Invoices Work Orders when repair has been completed at Patterson Veterinary NRC.
• Order entry as needed for internal and external sources.
• Issues credits as needed which includes adjusting inventory and the quarantine of vaporizers until credit is processed.
• Runs Outstanding Customer Returns report from vaporizer database and call customer/track vaporizer returns to ensure they are received in a timely manner.
• Order entry, forecasting, record keeping and daily ship log for Banfield Hospitals. New Product Development
• Researches and reviews new product or competitive product information and updates matrices as needed. Underdog Pet Rescue and Veterinary Services is seeking a full time CVT to support the work of our veterinarian and staff. Our clinic serves both the animals who are part of Underdog Pet Rescue, as well as animals in our community who require veterinary care. Veterinary Information Specialist Description

The Veterinary Information Specialist position is responsible for responding to incoming cases on Pet Poison Helpline and SafetyCall’s industry side via the telephone, email, and chat applications regarding potential toxic exposures, poisonings and other adverse events from pet owners and veterinarians related to various household and consumer products, animal health products, plants, OTC products, dietary supplements, prescription drugs, and other chemical exposures. Specialists take full histories and details of the events, triage the cases and provide accurate medical, health and safety information to the callers. Specialists document each case in an electronic record and follow up as necessary to ensure the well-being of the animals and facilitate adverse event reporting on the industry side.

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hrs/week. Positions do not have a set schedule. Shift times and shift days will vary and include weekends, typically 2 per month and up to 3 during our busy season, and some holidays. At this time available shifts are 8 ½ hours long and are primarily evening shifts (shift start times are ranging from 2pm-6pm CST and shift end times ranging from 10:30pm-2:30amCST). While we may be able to work with some scheduling restrictions, flexibility in availability is highly preferred as we operate 24/7. Overnights are not required.

Part-time, 20 hrs/week. We have a daytime and an evening shift need. Employees will be scheduled 4 hours shifts, 5 days a week on a 2 week rotation which will include every other weekend. Daytime, PT Hours: 4-hour shifts between the hours of 7am-2pm CST. Week 1 will work Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Training
